The news that the transfer of Lee Kang-in, who is known to be close to a move to Paris Saint-Germain, has been completed, and his body value has been revealed.

It seems that Lee Kang-in is just one step away from moving to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

On the 4th (Korean time), Juanmi Sanchez, a reporter specializing in Lee Kang-in's current team RCD Mallorca, announced on his Twitter that "the negotiations between Mallorca and PSG for Lee Kang-in have been completed."

He said, "Mallorca will receive a transfer fee of 22 million euros (about 310 billion won)."

He then explained, "20% of it will go to Lee Kang-in's treasury," adding that "he was able to secure a portion of the future transfer fee in exchange for giving up the contract bonus when he moved to Valencia as a free agent (FA)."

He added, "Mallorca will secure more than 17 million euros (about 240 billion won)."

The amount Lee Kang-in will receive is expected to reach 4.4 million euros (about 6.2 billion won) of the transfer fee paid by PSG.

According to a local report in France, Lee Kang-in's current annual salary is around 4 million euros (about 57 billion won). This is a drastic increase from the 400,000 euros (about 5.7 million won) he received from Mallorca.

Mallorca, which had signed Lee Kang-in for free, also earned 17.6 million euros (about 249 billion won), making a big profit.

Lee Kang-in scored 6 goals and 6 assists in the Spanish La Liga last season, marking his first double-digit scoring point. He also set a new record of 1.5 key passes per game and 2.5 dribbles per game.

It is generally considered that he has become a player who has grown one step further by complementing his weaknesses in speed, physical contact, and defense participation.

This is why Atletico Madrid and Manchester City were interested in Lee Kang-in, as well as PSG.

PSG's biggest goal for the next season is to win the UEFA Champions League (UCL).

PSG, which has won Ligue 1 in France 11 times, has never won the Champions League. In the 2019-2020 season, they finished as runners-up, and in the 2020-2021 season, they were eliminated in the quarterfinals.

In the past two seasons, they were eliminated in the round of 16.

Lee Kang-in is expected to play a role in PSG's championship. Although there is inevitable competition due to the large number of excellent players, it is likely that he will be guaranteed playing time as he is moving with a large transfer fee of 22 million euros.
